I’m an upbeat and energetic instructor who loves to connect with students so please say hi and tell me a bit about yourself! I started practicing yoga in 2013 and earned my certification to teach in 2023. I love love love music, and I make a new playlist for each class I teach. In my classes you can expect to hear all types of music from 60s to present day, classical to pop to rock. Regardless of if I am teaching a vinyasa flow, aerial, or another type of class, I strive to lead classes where students can zone out, move all parts of the body, and leave feeling balanced & relaxed. 🧘🏼

I have enjoyed teaching since 2009. It is a great way for me to carry on the lessons my Grandfather taught me. Teaching was something I fell into after college and has been an amazing way to stay connected with my local community. Excited to hang out with you on the mat!

I fell instantly in love with the yoga practice the moment I stepped onto my mat. The way it made me feel not just physical but energetically. From that moment, I knew I wanted to become a yoga instructor. With my teachings, I want to instill a sense of confidence in my students and to bring peace to their everyday lives. I love to incorporate my first love - music - into my teachings. Allowing the music to flow through the body and release any pent up energy. When you don’t see me up front teaching or on my own mat, you will find me on stage singing my heart out with my band The Indigos and Matt & Aly. You can also find me with my nose in a book, being out in nature as much as I can, cartwheeling with Dolphins, playing with my dog and just being my natural goofy self.

I enjoy people, listening, helping, sometimes walking around the mall to observe people, fashion, makes my mind clear. One of the things I enjoy is adjusting my students in class makes me feel closer to them and connecting better, traveling is always in my do list, I like to share my experiences with friends or people I have to talk, but when I need to be creative or solve a problem, I need to be alone, too much noise distract me. I choose to practice yoga because it has helped me in such different levels to be a better version of myself.

I started my yoga journey in 2015 after the birth of my daughter while really struggling with postpartum depression
and mental illness. Unlike so many new to yoga, my journey had a rough beginning…and I almost quit the practice
completely.
After moving to Calgary, Alberta in Canada I took a risk and joined a hot studio there participating in a vinyasa practice; it changed everything. I began to practice as often as I could discovering that there was so much more to yoga than just the asanas.
I have a subspecialty focus in Arm Balances and Inversions, because I believe so much that we can do these wild crazy things in our life and that what we do or don’t do on our mat can be a reflection of where we’re stopping ourselves in life as well. I focus breaking down these asanas for beginners to intermediate practitioners in a way that uses physics and mechanics so that everyone, in every age, and every body can fly-on the mat and off. I love holding space for students and believing in them whole heartedly.
My classes focus on curiosity, tapas, and joy; on discovering just what we’re capable of when we begin to trust ourselves.
I really work to consistently be authentic to myself while remaining true to the roots of an ancient practice. My classes gravitate towards fun, fluid movement, and a really fire playlist. Music is integral to my practice, and I love to be playful on the mat, creating a safe space where you feel you can do and be the same.
When I’m off the mat, you can find me working for an international yoga company teaching, holding space, and behind my computer writing all the things.
Certifications:
E-RYT 200 through Breathe Yoga
RTY 500 through Yogi Flight School
YACEP
100 Hour Certification in The Yogi Flight Method for Arm Balances and Inversions
Yin Certification through Abigail Aller
CE in Trauma Informed Trauma Sensitive Yoga
Playlist Essentials:
I love a crazy mix of fun tracks that carry a beat but also share a vide with intention from Noah Kahan, to Bad Kharma, Sia, and cool remixes when I want to slow it down that add a little fun and humor like No Diggity remixed by Matthew Mole. I’m all about that long Savasana and helping you reconnect and rediscover with music and stillness in that final pose.
Interests:
Yoga and the fascinating science behind it, travel and living in all the places around the world that I can, my husband and children (I have four kids, and you’ll often find me at their activities or rock climbing with them in my down time). I’m a major book addict and just seriously love people. I can’t wait to meet you!!

I first stepped onto a yoga mat in 2021 and quickly found a home in gentle and restorative classes. The practice taught me how to slow down, ground myself, and—what I like to call—close out all the extra browser tabs in my brain. Now as a teacher, I aim to offer that same sense of grounding, calm, and light to others.
In my classes, expect a warm and supportive space, moments of reflection, and a few light-hearted laughs along the way. My goal is always to help students refill their cup and reconnect to the light within. Whether we’re flowing through a gentle sequence or moving with more energy, my approach is rooted in love, intention, and empowerment.

You will be hard pressed to find me in a bad mood and not eager to give you a fun and challenging yoga experience. I have been practicing yoga for 25 years but officially received my 200 hour yoga certification in December of 2017. I typically teach an athletic style vinyasa flow with energetic music to match the vibe. You can always count on the music to “move you” and will experience a wide range of styes that will most always include some sort of hip hop (old and new) 😉 I love to challenge you while always allowing you to meet yourself where you are whenever you arrive on your mat. My goal is for you to leave feeling happy, empowered, strong and better than you arrived.

Hi yogi! I’m a lifelong learner and spiritual seeker who loves life and geeking out on how to be the most vibrant, peaceful, self-actualized version of me—and then helping others do the same.
After feeling lost for many years of my young adult life, yoga became my solace and the springboard to over a decade of personal expansion and healing. In yoga I learned how to connect with and love my body, find awareness and peace in my thoughts, and realize the power I have in each moment to choose who I want be and how I want to view the world. I became a teacher in 2016 and finally found a home in leading others through connecting with them and helping them connect to themselves.
In my classes you will find three main themes ↓
One is the mental, emotional, and spiritual lessons you gain about yourself and your life through a yoga practice. Two is releasing the built up physical and emotional stress from living a modern life. And three is forgetting about what a pose looks like and prioritizing healthy movement patterns that will keep you pain-free, strong, flexible, and moving freely for all the years of your life!
I’ve passionately studied the mind/body connection and integrate neurology, somatics, and mindset tools into yoga and all aspects of my life and coaching. These tools have helped me overcome chronic illness and anxiety, and it’s my life’s work to share them with others.
Credentials:

Playlist Essentials:
Spiritual, emotive, wordless - playlists play a huge role in the experience!

Nervous system regulation, dance, conscious communication, nature, travel, dogs, personal growth books, mind/body healing, posture, and breath
